Now the SPD must end the austerity course with which Scholz and Schäuble devastated the country: The billions that the Scholz clique has withdrawn from the economic cycle must be invested. Public contracts must be awarded to renovate schools whose roofs are defective and into which it rains, and bridges in danger of collapsing.
The Schröder social laws (Hartz IV) must be abolished again, the SPD must dissociate itself from it reliably. Low wages have led to general depression. The buyer class for mass goods is becoming smaller and smaller, while the sale of large-volume SUVs is not a sustainable business model.
Housing construction must be promoted so strongly that the speculative bubble collapses. A pension insurance must be reintroduced that pays back at least as much as the contributor has paid in. There must be unemployment insurance again that does not allow the unemployed to sink into poverty.
SPD: Hunt down the CDU or go down.
Germany wants to be able to breathe again. Greece and Italy must also be freed from their shackles. These countries can help themselves, but not under neoliberal control.
However, these measures would strengthen the self-confidence of large sections of the population. They would demand not only material participation but also social co-determination. But then the political class will no longer fence with the foil, but bring out the AfD sword.
Walter-Borjans and Esken are perceived as foreign bodies in the well-established system of the political-medial establishment. This could be observed with Anne Will and Markus Lanz on ARD and ZDF. Not only the massive personal reservations of the other invited guests towards Borjans and Esken were remarkable, but also those of the talk show host Will and Lanz. How smooth and smoothly nevertheless the appearance of a new SPD chairman Scholz would have been. Now the political-medial system develops a defensive reaction against Borjans and Esken which they can only survive politically if they show corbynitic qualities.

Wie die Medien, das Fernsehen und die Druckmedien, Scholz promoted haben, das war schon dreist. Der Untergang der SPD, eine unausweisliche Folge einer Scholz- Wahl, war ihnen es wert; wenn nur diese furchtbare Koalition weiter regieren würde. So viel Titelbetrüger, die sich unter dem Schirm von Frau Merkel versammelt haben, hatte noch keine Regierung aufzuweisen. Und Frau Merkel hat das verteidigt: sie hätte ja keine Wissenschaftler, sondern Politiker eingestellt. Dass Betrug zum politischen Geschäft gehört, hatte man sich schon gedacht. Aber, dass die Pastorentochter das noch offen zugibt, das war doch erstaunlich. Da wunderte man sich nicht mehr , dass die Korruption bei der “Ausländermaut” ohne Folgen blieb.
Und, ob Scholz oder Schäuble Finanzminister waren, da war kein Unterschied zu bemerken. Das war auch so beabsichtigt: die SPD wollte sich bei den gehobenen Schichten anbiedern.
Und jetzt fürchtet die mit Ämtern versorgte gehobene Funktionärsschicht der SPD um ihre Privilegien. Ohne lautes Geschrei und Intrigen werden sie ihre Posten nicht räumen. Aber Grüne und FDP laufen sich schon heiß, um deren Plätze einzunehmen, regieren und herrschen, das ist eine zu große Verlockung, die Medien werden schon mitmachen. Hauptsache, dass die Kosten des Klimaschutzes auf die unteren Schichten abgeschoben werden.
